April box recap: Kale chips, green tea kombucha + more

The April showers are falling, but we're feeling pretty optimistic despite the gloomy weather. It's time to gear up for new habit formation, leisurely bike rides and fava bean crostini (mmm).

On another note, we worked with some amazing small-batch vendors this month. Here's a recap! (p.s. Thanks to the amazing Jodi Pudge Photography for taking our box photo this month.

Why We Love 'Em:
These chewy bars are full of fibre and good fats to keep us full for longer. They’re also sweetened with dates, meaning no added sugar or sticky syrups!

Why We Love 'Em:
Many packaged kale chips are bland. But these ones - made from organic B.C.-grown kale - are dehydrated and sprouted for extra flavour and nutrients.

We love Tonica kombucha as well! Unfortunately, we can’t include a product that requires refrigeration in our box, so the canned version was our best option. :)

Wonderdrink is a pasteurized kombucha – hence shelf stable.
Pasteurization kills the beneficial enzymes.
Drink raw kombucha that you can find in the fridge of your lical store.
My favourite is Tonica, (and I’m the founder’s Mom :-))
